Matt Bomer Says ‘There Are Legitimate Talks’ About ‘White Collar’ Revival

A long revival of white collar can definitely pay off.

Matt Bomer, who played a reformed con artist on the USA Network series from 2009 to 2014, told TVLine, “There has was talked about. It’s actually very legitimate talk, it’s a conversation. … A lot of things still have to work out, but at least there’s a plan, so we’ll see what happens.”

Bomer and creator Jeff Eastin started talking about one white collar Resume in 2020 at an assistance meeting Stars in the house Youtube channel. “I want nothing more than to be back on set with this group of people,” said Bomer, who organized the reunion. “There are real conversations going on. There seems to be great enthusiasm.”

white collar is certainly not the first old favorite from the US to seek a second life. Deadline recently reported on it Take Creator Aaron Korsh is developing a spin-off of his legal drama, which is enjoying a renaissance on Netflix. The original Take was produced by UCP, part of Universal Studio Group. A network or platform for the offshoot has not yet been established.

white collar was produced for the NBCU-owned USA by Fox TV Studios, now a Disney company. In addition to Bomer, the film starred Tim DeKay, Tiffani Thiessen and the late Willie Garson.

Bomer also addressed the challenges of moving forward without Garson, who played Mozzie on the original series. Garson died in 2021.

“Obviously that was the first thing that came to mind, but I felt like what Jeff Eastin presented to Tim and I was a tribute to what he brought to the show and to him as a person,” said the actor said. “If it wasn’t like that, I would never get involved again.” I think it’s a way for him to still be a part of the show in some way.
