EXCLUSIVE: Got it continues to ensure that NBC has a strong audience.
The series, already named NBC’s best release to date on Peacock after it debuted on Oct. 3, is now averaging 7.4 million viewers per episode after seven days of viewing across platforms.
According to NBCUniversal, the pilot episode has now been seen by more than 20 million viewers. This is significantly more than the 3.8 million live viewers on the same day in the first episode.
Over the seven-day viewing period, new episodes will continue to increase viewership by approximately 60%. NBCU also calls it the no. 1 television drama in the 18-49 demographic.
Deadline also has an exclusive look at the upcoming episode, which airs Tuesday.
The scene features Azaria Carter as young Gabi Moseley, almost six months before she escapes her captor known as Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar). Mister brought her a new book to read, but Gabi watches the first snowfall through the window and worries if her family is okay. She begs to call her father, but the Lord will not allow it.
Got it Shanola Hampton plays PR specialist Gabi Mosely – who was once one of these forgotten people herself – and her crisis management team now ensures that someone is always looking for the forgotten missing people. But unbeknownst to anyone, this everyday hero is hiding a terrifying secret of his own.
More than 600,000 people are reported missing in the United States each year. More than half of them are people of color, which the country seems to forget. Got it attempts to shed light on these stories.
Hampton stars alongside Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Kelli Williams, Brett Dalton, Gabrielle Walsh, Arlen Escarpeta and Karan Oberoi. Nkechi Okoro Carroll, Sonay Hoffman, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman and Lindsay Dunn are executive producers.
Got it airs Tuesdays at 10pm ET/PT on NBC.
