Nour, winner of The Voice 11: "Florent Pagny is like a father to me"

You looked surprised yesterday that you won 11 this season…

Oh yes, that’s for sure! I think we all deserved to win. And since the beginning of the adventure, I’ve been surprised every time I win a stage because every year the level gets crazier. Sound. I didn’t really expect to win, and there was also no competition between us. We thought more about the show, trying our best. Whoever wins, we would be proud.

Didn’t you expect to be one of the last two super finalists?

No, I thought it would be Vike and Caroline Costa.

How does it feel to experience a final at 16? Sound With so many famous guests?

It’s a crazy experience. It’s magic, really. The artists were very kind and human, they congratulated us. Made me so happy! I was able to talk to Angèle and Mika, and I talked a lot with Marghe and Mentissa from season 10 onwards.

What memories do you have of your duet with Slimane?

It was one of the best moments of the adventure. It was a great meeting, he is very nice. We immediately had a kind of bond, our complicity. I am very happy and I hope to have the opportunity to work with him again.

Why did you choose to join Florent Pagny’s team?

I wanted to have Florent Pagny from the very beginning. It has always been my choice, I admire it so much. He is like a father to me now. He was very cute and a very brave man. He always gives good advice and listens.

This week your sound problems prevented you from preparing properly for the final. Better ?

I can’t sing today. I’m sick, I can’t stop coughing. But I’ll be fine, I just need to rest. But for the finale, it destabilized me incredibly. I was twice as stressed as usual and couldn’t even be proud of what I was doing.

How did the rehearsals go?

Very quickly, because Florent Pagny really wanted me to keep my voice. He told me not to sing for a week and I listened to him from start to finish so I could max out in the finale.

why did you choose to comment Fly Celine Dion for this finale?

Because it’s a great song to write a song for. I sang mostly vocal songs on the show before, so I wanted to show what I could do by changing the record. Finishing the season was perfect.

what was your favorite thing Sound?
All the moments spent with the other candidates… All together, summer camp! We were so connected and it hurts to end. Now everyone will build their own life on their side, and that’s sad!

What are your aspirations for the future?

I’m going to rest, to rest my voice and take some notice of everything that’s going on. We’ll see later, maybe I’ll concentrate on an album…
