The 21-year-old Bad Guy singer has shared a gallery of photos of his family with the animal over the years, including a photo where family members have black patches over their eyes to look like pets.
Other photos show Billie Eilish as a little boy hugging Pepper, while another shows the musician tearfully leaning his head against the dog.
The singer captioned the photos with the caption: “Pepper. My best friend all my life. See you again someday, honey.
“You took 15 years. I love you. Rest in peace mom, I will miss you forever.”
“It’s a very difficult day,” he added.

Billie Eilish also shared other photos on her Instagram Story, including a photo of Pepper kissing her head, with the caption “Goodbye my angel”.
Finneas, the singer’s 25-year-old brother, also paid homage to his pets in his Instagram story, “A good, good dog who gives so much love to our family and is loved by all of us.”
The singer’s professional life is busy, as her personal life is now tainted by the loss of her beloved dog.
“What Was I Made For”, the last single co-written by the Grammy-winning singer’s brother and best friend Finneas, is featured in Greta Gerwig’s all-time acclaimed film “Barbie”.
In an interview with Apple Music 1 host Zane Lowe, Billie Eilish revealed that the song came about when she and her brother were experiencing “writing frustration”.
