Marine Lloris says it’s a real trauma. The young woman, the wife of famous French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, fell victim to a health problem last Friday, as she suffered from a severe allergy. The head of the company in France therefore went to the emergency room in hopes of getting treatment. But she had a hilarious surprise when she arrived, as Marine Lloris said on Instagram: “Last night, at midnight, I went to the Saint-Jean emergency room in Cagnes-sur-Mer with a very serious allergy spreading rapidly. But they refused to treat me. Two nurses insulted me and spoke arrogantly to me because without a social security number I wouldn’t have a job there.“Marine Lloris has been living in London with her companion since 2012, when she transferred to Tottenham, and is therefore no longer eligible for social security in France.
Later, Marine Lloris regretted that the healthcare facility’s care staff had not been taken into account: “The nurse told me the doctor had a choice: treat me and get paid the next day because there is no secretary at night (…) or refuse to treat me for fear of not being paid, even if it’s urgent. He made his choice. They asked me to leave without even checking my health and confirming the seriousness of my allergies, which might worsen. (…) I did not go to the ED because I did not have a social security number. For them, I was someone to be cautious about, but not someone who needed immediate treatment. For the first time, I felt out of place in my country, in the city where I was born. (…) In short, I was shocked by what I experienced in my own city last night.” Keep in mind that Marine Lloris may have to move soon as his wife Hugo Lloris has been the subject of many transfer rumors lately. While waiting for the transfer window to end, the former Blues captain resumed training with Tottenham this Monday. His contract remains until July 3, 2024 .
