Around 1200 BC, at the end of the Bronze Age, several thriving civilizations of the Mediterranean disappeared: the Mycenaeans in Greece or the Hittites in Turkey. Several explanations overlap.

A little over 3,000 years ago, a catastrophic event occurred that remained shrouded in mystery for too long. Cities and centers of power of wealthy and prosperous civilizations across the Mediterranean are disappearing almost overnight. Today, scientists and historians join forces to unravel the mystery of this extinction.
