A spokesperson for Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, announced that she was being treated for breast cancer.

The spokesperson told Sky News: “Sarah, Duchess of York, was recently diagnosed with an early breast cancer and was detected during a routine mammogram. She was told she would have surgery and it was completed successfully.”

“The Duchess is receiving the best medical care and her doctors have told her her prognosis is good. She is now recovering with her family. The Duchess would like to express her endless gratitude to all the medical staff who have supported her over the past few years. She is also very grateful to the mammography team who helped determine her condition even though she had no symptoms. She is grateful and believes her experience highlights the importance of regular screening.”

The 63-year-old Duchess left the private King Edward VII Hospital in London on Sunday, which has treated members of the royal family for decades, Association Press reported.

Looks like he’s back at his home in Windsor.

He also recorded an episode of his new podcast, Tea Talk, before entering the hospital, where he talks about his diagnosis.

This episode will air on Monday.

Duchess of York, Queen One of the sons of Elizabeth and King III. She is the ex-wife of Charles’ brother, Prince Andrew.

The couple remained close after their divorce and even live together at the Royal Lodge in Windsor Grand Park, where they have resided since 2004.

Their eldest daughter, Beatrice, was born on August 8, 1988, followed by Eugenie on March 23, 1990.

He is also the grandfather of three grandchildren.
