‘I spent my time locked in the toilet’: Amandine Pellissard talks about her experience with school bullying

Amandine Pellissard, who has been very sensitive to abuse after her numerous threats since her debut in “Extended families: Life at XXL”, admitted that she had been a victim of it since childhood… She recalled her painful years at university.

Amandine has never shied away from reacting to the news and admitted she was shocked when Lindsay, a 13-year-old victim of abuse, committed suicide. The young man, who was educated in Pas-de-Calais, decided to end his life after the hate messages directed to him both in the digital environment and directly in the institution where he was educated and aware of the facts. “An administrative investigation will be launched depending on the situation” finally announced Jean-Roger Ribaud, the academic director in Pas-de-Calais. At the same time, he acknowledged that school buses can do it. “Go further in pursuit” the young girl… Since the young girl committed suicide on 12 May, lawsuits have been filed against four children. “suicidal school bullying”. This dramatic case aroused great emotion and Amandine Pellissard wanted to take her example and educate her subscribers about it.

Discovering a livestream about Lindsay’s suicide, it was a shocked Amandine who shared part of the conversation on Instagram where we saw the teenager continue to be insulted even though she is no longer alive. “He’s pushing, hello grown-ups? How long have I been telling you? A bunch of crazy people, educate your kids!!! Are you there to bother, with your sickening pages”protested Alexandre Pellissard’s wife. He later said that he himself was the victim of school bullying when he was younger.

“As for myself, I was locked in college toilets at 13… They made fun of my last name, my appearance…”, she remembered. And to specify: “But at that time there were no social networks, it was through the gates of the college, it was over by the next day”. The mother of eight children also talked about the abuse she experienced after participating in the protest. Large families: life in the XXL unfortunately it brought back bad memories. “It doesn’t stop today. I was insulted and beaten in college and today… the pain goes beyond school”‘ he finished with boredom.
