This isn’t the first time the couple has been accused of defrauding their subscribers… Ever since Booba put his name behind the scenes of reality TV, things seem to be moving fast. The Boulogne rapper isn’t shy about pinning reality TV stars, especially when he thinks it’s a scam through dropshipping, so he’s set his sights on Thibault Garcia and Jessica Thivenin. The couple owns several brands, including Jylor, a line of cosmetic treatments based on 24-carat gold, if we’re to believe what’s shown on the site. The products are priced quite high, and many Internet users claim here that Garcias is by no means the origin of this brand and everything is made in China.
“Come and check”
Booba shared a video posted by Thibault Garcia in which he explained that he did not understand many reports about his brand. He also explained that following these reports, he was notified that the Directorate General for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Prevention (DGCCRF) would begin investigating Jylor. Internet users accuse them of lying about the origin of their products, while the couple denies and assures that they are indeed made in France. Jessica and Thibault embarked on a role-playing game on Snapchat to announce the bad news to their subscribers.
“Die laughing this morning, what have we got, darling?”she began. And Thibault to answer him: “A little letter from the DGCCRF. They want to kill us. You should know that we don’t want us to work anymore. We have to be on the street or nothing.”. The young woman then spoke again and said: “More seriously, people have reported us for Jylor. As soon as we do something, people want to send a lot of people to the shores to check us out. Let them come check it out.”. “But it shocks me that people get so caught up in their crappy lives and take the time to report it (…) All products are made in France”then he insisted on the old candidate Marseille. Maylone and Leewane’s parents reassured them that they had nothing to blame, concluding: “We will take you to the cosmetic laboratories in France. We will go down, we will shoot a video, we will take it and I hope you will relax from now on”. To be continued…
