An early ending that “The Tour of the Multitude” is known for. On Tuesday, May 9, Stromae announced on his Twitter account that he was ending his tour for health reasons: “The Multitude album and tour that we started together over a year ago is a high point for me and a source of great pride, both personally and collectively. Since the beginning of this tour, I have been very happy to see you on stage and to share this adventure with all the teams that designed this extraordinary show with me. A few months ago, I felt a deterioration in my health, which led me to give up on a few first dates in France and then in Europe. Surrounded by my doctors, family, friends and team, I hoped to get well soon and be back on the road. Unfortunately, today I have to admit that this period of rest and remission is going to take longer than I thought. Therefore, I deeply regret that I will not be able to fulfill my promise and today I am announcing the end of the Multitude Tour. This decision is difficult, but necessary to become better.“
Then, Stromae wanted to call out to his fans who supported him during his difficult times:With these words, I wanted to explain my decision to you and offer my most sincere apologies for these missed appointments that I was looking forward to as much as you and had to give up in spite of myself. All the messages of support and compassion I’ve been able to read on social networks for the past few weeks have really impressed me. I appreciate how lucky I am to have met you, even in part, and thank you for that.“In recent weeks, Stromae has had to cancel several dates on his tour. The 38-year-old Belgian artist will not be at the Rock Werchter (26 June) The Rabbit Hole (June 1) festivals.thing July).
