Sunny Hostin reacts to the fiery column converter The view Co-host Meghan McCain aired her grievances about her time on the daytime talk show.
While promoting her new book Summer on the Cliffs: A Novel on Bravos Watch what’s happening liveA fan asked Hostin for her thoughts on McCain’s column.
“Oh, let me have a drink. Um, what can I say? I didn’t read the column. I heard about it and our show is a great place,” Hostin said. “We’re the No. 1- talk show in the country, I’m happy to say. I’m surprised she’s writing about the book.”
She continued: “I know your husband [Ben Domenech] likes to tweet mean things about me, which is shocking, but Meghan and I have always been friendly, we remain friends and I don’t think she works in TV anymore.”
Hostin then suggested McCain for one of the franchises The Real Housewives Tell host Andy Cohen to hire her The Real Housewives of the Potomac “or one of them.”
“I wish her the best,” Hostin added. “We are very happy with the show, we are a really close-knit group and God bless them!”

Cohen is executive producer of The Real Housewives Franchise. McCain has been open about what a fan she is of the format and often takes to Twitter to discuss the Bravo shows.
McCain recently shared her criticism The view In one Daily mail column and said she would never return to the ABC show.
“The only way to survive on this show is with custard. Don’t say anything controversial to the elite, keep your head down and don’t do the job you were hired to do, expressing your authentic opinion,” McCain wrote in her column.
