This is a very good question because it takes a really long time to accomplish. It still has a dream effect. For my part, it took me months to realize this and I’m still having a hard time understanding the posts even as I’m reviewing them (laughs). Although it is the culmination of several years of work, it eventually happens very quickly. I have revised for 2 and a half years and my adventure don’t forget the lyrics it only took a few weeks so it was very fast.

Have things changed for you since then?

The simple truth of being able to translate Maestro League and to join Tournament it got me there to meet all the other champions, get back on set, that alone was pretty crazy! There is also a lot of kindness from the people we meet on the street and watch the show so honestly that it’s really just happiness, only positive! It’s a very popular show, so people are happy to see us, talk to us. Since I live in Limoges and not a big city like Paris or Lyon, people know me locally, it’s true that it’s easier to be recognized (laughs).

You have won 274,000 Euros and aim to increase your donations for the animal cause. Where is this project?

I was able to increase my monthly donations because these are causes that prefer regular donations and need long-term help. I also love rescuing animals that are a little too old or sick and nobody wants them. We are more like domestic cats and this amount allows me to take care of these animals at home and pay veterinary costs without worry. One of the examples of using what I’ve earned and important things I can’t afford to do without it.

this is your first Masters Tournament. How was your mood?

I’m so glad I found everyone, but I also felt a little stressed and maybe more than on my journey… I guess it’s because we played as a team and I didn’t want to let that happen. My partners fell. I wanted to put on a good face and not cause them to lose points so it was extra stress…

Fear of falling in front of certain candidates?

Honestly, no because it’s a pleasure to have any of the Maestros at this level on the team because we know we’re with the best. Affinities are everywhere, so you don’t have to worry. All I wanted to do was tell myself ‘We must be good for the association’.

How was your preparation for this new competition?

When we weren’t eliminated for too long, we experienced so much emotion and work that it’s a short time without revision. We got a little tired of ‘talking’ and so there were a few weeks where I needed a break and didn’t listen to French songs. When this little moment is over, it’s a pleasure to make sure you’re always on the same level. Anyway, if we don’t revise it in the meantime Masters, Tournamentetc., it is not possible to stay at that level and be that good, so yes, of course I revised it for this competition.

How was the meeting with the other champions?

In my acquaintances, you find this good-natured side so quickly, it’s summer camp (laughs). for new [Charlotte, Louis et Manon], I am very happy to be little news now. They were a little scared at first but it went very well and we were all very happy.

So this is the finale, you got there. Did you think you would go this far?

I really felt the satisfaction of winning the first match as my team and I allowed the association to win 100,000 Euros. So being in the final was a bonus and much less stressful because we already had the impression that we were useful for a cause. The three of us argued the same way [avec Arsène et Caroline ] to be as serious as possible.
