EXCLUSIVE: Michael Cyril Creighton stars in the series regular of Hulu’s hit comedy Only dead in the building for season 3.
Since the show’s inception, Creighton has brought to life the character of Howard Morris, an Arconia native who loves cats and gossip. In the show’s first two seasons, Howard found himself at the center of a series of murder investigations – Tim Kono in season 1 and Bunny Folger in season 2 – but it was established that he was not involved in any of them.
Only dead in the building follows three strangers (Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez) who are obsessed with true crime and suddenly find themselves in it. When a gruesome death occurs in their exclusive Upper West Side home, the trio suspect a murder and use their intimate knowledge of true crimes to uncover the truth.
While recording their own podcast to document the case, the three unravel the building’s complex mysteries that stretch back years. Perhaps even more explosive are the lies they tell each other. Soon the threatened trio realize that there may be a killer living among them as they try to decipher the mounting clues before it’s too late.
The series comes from co-creators and writers Steve Martin and John Hoffman. Martin and Hoffman executive produce with Martin Short, Selena Gomez, It’s us Creators Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal. The series is produced by 20th Television, part of Disney Television Studios.
Creighton is currently playing in Amazon’s final season The wonderful Mrs. Maisel. He also came back on Showtime’s Dexter: Fresh blood and also won an Independent Spirit Award for his performance in the Oscar-winning film, headlight. Additional credits include features The comments, game night and TV: Dash & Lily by Netflix, HBOS High maintenance effort and Amazon’s A competition in itself to name a few. He is represented by Industry Entertainment and Stewart Talent.
