Koh-Lanta: Grace: "I listened to my husband and his advice impressed me greatly…"

Despite being tired and hungry, Grace shows her teeth at every challenge. Nothing can stop him. Meeting a wonderful woman who is a mother of three.

We’ve never seen a survivor on Koh-Lanta spend the night tied to a tree trunk!

grace : (Laughs!) Yes, but I am 3000% arachnophobic. And this crazy idea about not sleeping on the floor comes from my husband. It’s ridiculous, because like everyone else, I’ve been swallowed by sand fleas. I listened to my husband and his advice got me excited on social media. I then luckily adapted to the local fauna.

How did your three children react when they saw you on the small screen?

The eldest, 15-year-old Owen, doesn’t show much of his emotions. I still have trouble understanding how he felt about his mother’s adventure. His younger siblings Leny (11) and Tyron (6) enjoy watching every broadcast!

They must have been surprised to see that he ate locusts in the sixth episode…

They did not recognize me. At that moment, I embarked on a great adventure. We are all hungry and need protein to keep moving forward. This is cricket time. And when grilled on a wood fire, it tastes like chicken.

Finally, Koh-Lanta, that’s good, right?

Thanks to this experience, I was able to tame my spider phobia. I won’t say they’re my friends, but I’ve looked at them differently since then.

At the camp you can feel the spirit of a leader accustomed to managing everything in life…

You are right, Nicolas and I were the flag bearers of the yellow team. We have always taken care to give good advice to our playmates and to give morale to those who have a little slack. I have a mother chicken side and of course I couldn’t help but be a mother to the youngest… Also, Tania and Benjamin called me “mom” at camp.

Is this joy of living also in your nature?

In daily life, I am a real teaser. Entertaining the gallery and adding flair wherever it goes. I stayed true to myself on Koh-Lanta. Be careful, I won’t tell you that this adventure is like happy summer camps! During my downtime, I thought a lot about my family.

How did you react to Benjamin’s abandonment and the arrival of the great manipulator Rudy in your tribe?

Benji had an ear infection. With the humidity and cold, it became very difficult to continue in these conditions. I also understand your decision. As for Rudy’s arrival, of course I suspect him. I tell myself it’s better to go straight.

No strategy on the yellows menu?

NO. We prefer to save our energy to win games with maximum comfort and immunity, not at this stage of the game. I have a lot of confidence in myself and my team. He’s carrying me, that’s for sure.

Did this Koh-Lanta adventure meet your expectations?

Yes, but there was no disclosure about me. I stayed the same.
