Kelli Giddish returns as Amanda Rollins in both Law and order: SVU And Law and Order: Organized Crime, deadline confirmed. She will appear in the penultimate episode of Season 3 and the Season 24 finale.
Giddish announced in August that she was the Law and Authority-Verse with Rollins making her last appearance in a December episode where her character ADA with Sonny Carisi, Jr. (Peter Scanavino) married. She also revealed that she is on a new career path and has accepted a teaching position at Fordham University. When Rollins returns, she will surprise her former colleagues with the news that she is pregnant.
“Playing Rollins has been one of the greatest joys and privileges of my life,” she posted on social media last year when she announced her departure. “I was happy to be there Law and Authority family for 12 years. There’s just no other character on television like Rollins. She grew and changed, and so did I. I started this show in my late twenties and am grateful to have had so many of my adult years with Rollins in my life.
