Tuesday, May 3rd, Julien becomes the new Maestro of Nagui’s show. Always curious to know more about her candidates, Mélanie Page’s husband was interested in the candidate’s business, somewhat curious. Indeed, Julien is a funeral director and ceremonial master, and he seemed to have surprising stories to tell to the public.
Black humor
The presenter talked about the subject and especially the music chosen by the families of the deceased during his funeral. Nagui asked humorously: “Has anyone asked? sardines e.g ? “. The host was of course talking here some rather evocative lyrics, from Patrick Sébastien’s song and comparing the dead locked in a box with nothing but sardines and a coffin… Mélanie Page’s husband certainly wasn’t expecting the answer. That was to follow up and yet!
Julien replied tit-for-tat: “I heard, they told me”. Surprised by this disastrous anecdote, Nagui insisted: “So there is a dead man in the coffin, and in the room is ‘What are we cramming at the bottom of this box?’ The candidate said, “I haven’t heard, but it has been reported to me.” And Nagui, to return: “The humor of the deceased resonates with the sadness of the family and the death It may not correspond to your day”. A great go-to for all kinds of jokes, France 2’s flagship host therefore seems to have crossed the line in terms of humor.
