The first ad for Woody Harrelson’s fifth visit as SNL The weekend host is a departure from the usual staged parts of the show between host, musical guest and a performer.
In the spot, Harrelson wanders through a hall full of photos of other famous hosts, but in typical “Woody” fashion, he seems a little vague about who each one is. In front of a photo of Ben Affleck, we hear his inner monologue say “Matt Damon,” and as he walks past a photo of Owen Wilson, he thinks to himself, “Amy Poehler.” And then he stops for a shot of Matthew McConaughey and is surprised. “Oh, my weed man,” he thought.
Soon after, new cast member Devon Walker approaches Harrelson and things get even stranger.

This weekend’s time as the frontman of the show marks Harrelson’s performance Saturday night live‘s popular “Five-Timers Club” hosts. That means he’s kind of a made man along with other five timers like Affleck, Justin Timberlake and Danny DeVito.
