Ruby Stokes turned off the train Bridgeton Unpleasant Plywood & Co. and now shares what she misses most about the Netflix drama.
“What I miss most about this show is the people. The people are just second to none,” she shared Magazine from 1883 in an interview. “You are amazing, generous, kind, hilarious and genuine. They are amazing. They’re just really, really good people, both the crew and the cast.”
Stokes played the role of Francesca Bridgerton in the television adaptation of the Julia Quinn book series. She is now the protagonist of Plywood & Co. where she plays Lucy Carlyle and Stokes now compares the similarities between the two roles.
“I think they are both very confident in their opinions,” she explains. “They don’t care what other people think, but they value people close to them and people in their inner circle. They appreciate and love her very much, whether it’s Lucy with Lockwood and George or Francesca with her family. I think they will have a lot of respect for each other.”
Bridgeton went on to recast Francesca with Hannah Dodd, who would take on the role in Season 3. Francesca’s role is expected to take center stage in the coming seasons as her character becomes more complete and relevant. Quinn’s sixth book in the series of novels titled When he was bad turn around Francesca.
