Clavier started throwing vegetables at the others and it got out of control because of Clavier. Depardieu got involved, and I had to dodge bullets. Laetitia amazed me with her unfailing calm. As in the scene where Obélix proposes to her: Depardieu had forcefully drank the wine. He noticed it, but managed to catch it five times in a row. He’s startled.”
Roberto Benigni (Lucius Detritus): Whimsical
“Roberto is as enthusiastic on set as he is in life. He is always in a good mood, shouting, jumping, laughing, singing… Before shooting, the technicians corrected a collapsing wooden tower 8 meters high. And Roberto was Inside.
