EXCLUSIVE: The night managerThe Indian remake launches this week and the stars now appear on the cover of the original novel by John le Carré – a first for an Indian series.

Stars Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur will appear in a re-release of the novel, which was first published in 1993 after discussions with Disney+ Hotstar. The administrative rights Owners The Ink Factory and Penguin Random House India.

This is believed to be the first time that characters from an Indian series have appeared in an international bestseller. This gives new impetus to the live series, which will launch in India on February 17 on Disney+ Hotstar under the Hotstar Specials brand. The Ink Factory and Banijay Asia did the show with Sandeep Modi as showrunner.

In the series, Kapoor and Kapur reprise the roles made famous by Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddlestone in the BBC and AMC series in 2016. Sobhita Dhulipala, Tillotama Shome, Saswata Chatterjee and Ravi Behl also star.

The spy drama follows a hotel manager and ex-soldier who decides to take down an illegal arms dealer.
