In this thriller you play Marie-Alice Delorme, an injured woman in a wheelchair. Can you tell us your story?
Aurora Delplace: This woman had everything to be happy. A job as a manager in the shipping department of an airport and a lover they met recently during a rafting course. Unfortunately, he didn’t know that he was part of a gang of money-shipping looters. A few days later, his life changes when he introduces him to his passion for skydiving and the wingsuit. The poor, who fell victim to a fall from 2,000 meters, has serious consequences. A smashed leg, a smashed back, and ugly scars all over his body. Marie is slowly losing interest in life. She is ashamed of what she is and lives separate from the world. At that moment, an event turned his daily life upside down once again… This television movie deals with his current life and his life before the accident with flashbacks.
Was it difficult to play two different characters in the same movie?
The complicated thing was getting cocked in a corset and wearing a leg brace all day. But I was lucky not to feel the pain that disabled people feel every day. I thought a lot about these…
So no bluff?
NO ! I actually consulted an orthoprosthetic. He made me a custom corset. For the joke, he told me my spine was broken!
And that jumpsuit, did you really do it?
Yes, I dared! I jumped out of a plane for the first time in my life. Undoubtedly, tandem… But what feelings! I flew like a bird. I loved. It must be said that I am a natural daredevil in life.
Marie-Alice Delorme is the opposite of the lawyer Johanna Lemeur you played in Un si grand soleil…
There is nothing to see! That’s why I agreed to take on this dramatic role. I have a deep love for this toothy lawyer, but I was so happy to step out of my comfort zone and find a different game.
Although… In love, Marie-Alice and Johanna are queens to be manipulated…
This is true ! That’s what they have in common. Johanna’s love stories have gone badly since her divorce with Christophe (Hubert Benhamdine). It crashes every time!
Where is Johanna in the France 2 series?
It smells burnt! Claudine (Catherine Wilkening) is determined to buy shares in Johanna and Florent’s (Fabrice Deville) law firm. And he is ready for anything. Stop trapping him…
You live with your Aaron’s (16 months old) father, comedian Kevin Levy, Tomorrow belongs to us. Are you watching TF1 or France 2 in the evening?
Whenever we get the chance, we watch our TV series together. We never make fun of our characters, but ourselves, yes!
La Vengeance sans visage: Saturday 11 February at 21:10 in France 3.
