Bella Thorne claims a director sexualized her when she was 10 during an audition

Bella Thorne has raised a new allegation of sexualising children.

The former Disney Channel star’s latest claim came when it appeared on Emily Ratajkowski’s podcast High low with EmRata.

Thorne claimed in the interview that she was passed over for an acting job at the age of 10 after a casting director accused her of flirting with him. She did not mention the person’s name.

“I had feedback from a director once, and I was 10,” the 25-year-old actress said. “The casting director called my agent and the agent called my mom and they said, ‘So she’s not moving forward because the director felt like he was flirting and he was really uncomfortable with that,'” Thorne himself recalled. “What are you talking about, man?! I don’t care what I said! I don’t care if I say, ‘Now eat my P—y!’ [I was] is 10 years old. Why, why would you ever think that?

“He also felt there was a real problem,” Ratajkowski replied.

This is not the first time Thorne has addressed the issue of her child abuse at the hands of elders.

In her 2019 book The Life of a Wannabe Mogul: Mental Disarray, Thorne used poetry to recount how she was molested by someone between the ages of 6 and 14, whom she declined to name. That’s a time frame that included her starring turn on Disney Channel’s Shake It Up, which ran from 2010 to 2013.

“He didn’t have to deal with the countless times he molested me / He didn’t have to deal with the countless times I felt embarrassed or disgusted,” Thorne, 21, wrote in the poem. She blamed “Stockholm Syndrome” for not stopping the abuse and did not call him an abuser. Stockholm syndrome is a mental condition that causes a prisoner to align their opinions with those of their captor.

In the final shot, Thorne pointed out that the casting process did not allow her to be inappropriate.

“You’re also in a director’s session,” Thorne pointed out. “There’s not really much to say or do. You do the scene, say hello and walk out. There is no time to say, “Let me sit on your lap or you will be uncomfortable.” What are you talking about, man?

Thorne admitted she struggles with guilt over the incident.

“I almost try to find fault with myself,” she said. “Like ‘What did you do Bella? What did you do to make him feel this way? And every time I’m like, ‘Bella, cut it out.’ Even that thought becomes part of the problem… it drives me crazy.

Ratajkowski then concluded: “If you need a more twisted story about Hollywood and pedophilia and the sexualization of children, I don’t know if there is one.”
