Fox scored 25.9 million viewers watching the Green Bay Packers vs. watched Miami Dolphins game.
It is the third consecutive year that an NFL game had the highest viewership on Fox on Dec. 25, rivaling two other NFL games on other networks: Buccaneers vs. Cardinals on NBC (with approximately 17.15 million viewers) and Broncos vs. Rams on CBS (average 21.6 million viewers).
Fox had a record-breaking Christmas weekend with its NFL games on Christmas Eve averaging 27.8 million viewers. This is 15% more than in the previous year.
11 games were played on Christmas Eve, five of which were broadcast on Fox, including Atlanta Falcons vs. Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions vs. Carolina Panthers, and Seattle Seahawks vs. Kansas City Chiefs.
The Eagles vs. The Cowboys game on Fox won the weekend with 27.83 million viewers, the largest NFL Week 16 audience since 2009.
Through Week 16, the NFL on Fox averaged about 19.64 million viewers, up 6% from last year’s 18.6 million. This is the network’s best performance to date since 2015.
