The 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris will be the first in history to host an extended hospitality program next summer.
Paris will host the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024, a full century after the Olympic Games were last held in the iconic French capital – although this time it will be a first Paralympic sports festival.
After a 100-year wait, Paris 2024 has partnered with hotel supplier On Location, putting together packages to support seven sports next summer. Sales begin on October 11.
These include wheelchair basketball, para-athletics, para-judo, para-swimming, wheelchair rugby, wheelchair tennis and para-cycling track, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies.
The opening ceremony will be the first in Paralympic history not to take place inside a stadium.
The Paralympic Games are being held in Paris for the first time in the competition’s history

The elaborate opening ceremony takes place on the Champs-Élysées and the Place de la Concorde
Instead, it will take place on the Champs Élysées and Place de la Concorde in the heart of the city, with a special Garden Party hospitality experience in the Tuileries Gardens as well as first-class views of the traditional athletes’ parade.
Paul Caine, president of On Location and IMG Events, said: “As the official hospitality provider for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, our mission is to create unforgettable moments that celebrate diversity and forge valuable connections.”
“The values of the Paralympic Games – courage, commitment and determination – deeply reflect our approach.”
“We are honored to contribute to this extraordinary event by offering hospitality packages that reflect these core principles and create exceptional experiences for all our guests.”
