Exclusive to Mail on Sunday readers, sail through Iceland’s majestic fjords and meet Carol Kirkwood

Iceland has so much to offer nature lovers – from geothermal springs and high mountains to beautiful fjords where humpback whales break into icy waters.

There is no better way to experience the dramatic landscapes and wildlife than on an adventure cruise and our two week luxury cruise in September takes you to many of the highlights of this magical land.

To make the holiday extra special you have the opportunity to meet popular TV weather presenter Carol Kirkwood. She will accompany you on a field trip and deliver an informative lecture and Q&A session in Iceland’s capital and largest city, Reykjavik.

On this unforgettable cruise, sail in style on the Balmoral, a sleek vessel specially designed for a closer look at Iceland’s natural wonders. Once on board, you’ll enjoy a range of fantastic onboard facilities including the Atlantis Spa, two heated swimming pools and a range of dining options.

Dramatic: The Mail on Sunday’s two-week trip to Iceland sees some of the country’s most spectacular waterfalls, including Godafoss Falls (above)

The itinerary has been carefully designed to include some of Iceland’s greatest natural attractions.

You will have the opportunity to see the dramatic Seydisfjordur fjord, the impressive Strokkur geyser and the mighty waterfalls of Gullfoss and Godafoss.

You will sail on Iceland’s longest fjord, the Eyjafjördur, and along the Borgarfjördur Eystri fjord, which is home to a large population of elves according to Icelandic folklore. Borgarfjördur Eystri is one of the best places in Iceland to see puffins.
