Moment when two passengers are thrown off the Oakland-Chicago Amtrak train after their pet Pomeranian “kept barking and pooping in the aisles”.

Two sisters heading to Chicago for the Christmas holidays were forced off an Amtrak train after their pomeranian made a spectacle of barking and defecating, reportedly disturbing other passengers.

The couple, who have not been identified, were escorted off the train by police officers in Grand Junction, Colorado on December 21. The women then had to rent a car and drive through storms to get to their loved ones in time for Christmas.

Brent Bell, a dog trainer and passenger on the train who took video of the harrowing ordeal, told KTLA News it was “over some dog poop that they immediately cleaned up.”

‘These poor shy women was just shocked that they were treated like that,” he said, starting the recording because he “knows he’s going to witness an injustice,” claiming that he was “tired of dishonesty”.

Amtrak claimed the dog “caused disruption by repeatedly barking, urinating and defecating” on the train. After the pair was removed, Amtrak later apologized and said they were welcome back on the train with their dog.

Bell, a dog trainer, said he is familiar with and sympathizes with Pomeranians and their temperaments two women who held the dog on their lap during the journey to calm the puppy.

One of the nurses spoke to Nexstar’s KDVR off camera. She told the news outlet that she took feces from the train, but claimed it was not from her dog and was doing it as a favor to the other passengers.

She also claimed that the attendant and others targeted her during her attack on the train and one of them appeared to have been molested while going to the toilet, which she said upset her.

Amtrak spokeswoman Kimberly Woods said in a statement: “We apologize for the inconvenience and disruption to our passengers’ holiday travel on December 21st.

“Out of concern for all our customers on train 6, two passengers were told to board after their dog caused a disturbance by repeatedly barking, urinating and defecating in the customer’s seat.

The dog’s owner received several warnings that the dog was in the seat and was given advance notice of stops where dogs can be walked. Several passengers nearby also requested transportation due to the noise and stench.”

After the women exited the train and waited on the sidewalk with their pet and all their belongings while two officers stood nearby, the conductor asked Bell to put his phone away.

Bell told the conductor, “You have no choice, I can record the scenery.”

But the conductor told Bell he had “every choice on this train, it’s mine”.

During a Zoom interview, Bell said he told KDVR he asked people in the car they were in if anyone was “being bothered by that little dog,” but he said no one answered.

Bell, whose video has received hundreds of views, said he has a soft spot for “old ladies,” saying he started a GoFundMe that has already raised more than $500.
