ScreenRant has revealed the runtime for the upcoming film Digger, the new comedy starring Tom Cruise, which will run 2 hours and 8 minutes.
That makes it the shortest Tom Cruise film in eight years, according to ScreenRant. The previous Cruise film shorter than that was 2017's The Mummy. Digger will be only two minutes shorter than Top Gun: Maverick.
Plot and cast
Digger opens in theaters worldwide on October 2. The film follows the most powerful man in the world, who wants to prove he can save everyone on the planet and embarks on a difficult mission that changes his fate.
Alongside Cruise, the cast includes Jesse Plemons (Bugonia), Sandra Hüller (The Cleaner) and Riz Ahmed (Sound of Metal). The film is directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu, known for Birdman and The Revenant.
