Prime Video has officially renewed the coming-of-age series Sterling Point for a second season just two weeks after its streaming debut.
The announcement follows a strong launch for creator Megan Park's eight-episode drama, which quickly claimed the top spot on the streaming service after releasing on August 5.
Renewal and Streaming Success
According to Prime Video, the show reached number one on the platform during its opening days. The swift renewal reflects the audience reception for the summer series.
Park, who serves as creator, director, executive producer, and co-showrunner, expressed her excitement about continuing the project. She said seeing the appreciation and affection for the series had been an absolute joy.
She added that the creative team worked hard to ensure the story felt authentic, noting that they are eager to dive deeper into the characters during the second season.

The fiction stars Ella Rubin as Annie Jacobson, a 17-year-old girl raised in New York alongside her twin brother Connor and her adoptive father Steven. Prime Video is an international subscription video on demand service operated by Amazon.
Annie's life changes completely when she inherits her grandfather's mysterious Canadian island. Upon arriving, she encounters new friendships, romantic entanglements, and long-hidden family secrets that she had not known for years.
