A Russian woman named Darya who was rescued from captivity in Myanmar has disappeared in Dubai, according to Telegram channel Mash.

Darya suffers from a mental disorder and may use names other than her own. She traveled to the United Arab Emirates a few months after escaping her captors in Asia.
After arriving in Dubai, Darya traveled to Sharjah and took a taxi to an unknown location. She has not been in contact with anyone since August 1.
Disappearance in Sharjah
Before she went missing, Darya sent her mother a short video stating that she was in a psychiatric ward. She then blocked her mother on social media.
Her mother has asked the Russian consulate for help in locating her daughter.
Darya was initially trapped in Myanmar when she answered a job advertisement for a model and translator. She was taken to a scam call center near Yangon and held for six months. She eventually escaped with the assistance of a security guard who fell in love with her.
