Russian Strike Wounds Nine People in Central Pavlohrad

Russian troops struck the city center of Pavlohrad in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast late on August 8, wounding nine people including four children. A private house and a car caught fire in the attack, Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the regional military administration, reported on Telegram.

As of 9:50 p.m., the injured children included girls aged three months and three years, as well as boys aged 5 and 6. Medical staff provided them with necessary care, while two adults were hospitalized, with a 58-year-old woman in serious condition, Hanzha said.

The shelling also cut power in parts of Pavlohrad, where energy workers were working to restore electricity, according to the city council.

Attacks across Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson

Russian forces targeted four districts across Dnipropetrovsk Oblast during the day on August 8, hitting Nikopol, Synelnykove, Kryvyi Rih, and Pavlohrad. In the Nikopol area, strikes on a route bus and a truck killed two people and injured two others.

In Kherson Oblast, Russian occupiers were instructed to conduct so-called free hunting on vehicles using fiber-optic-guided drones.
