Greek pop singer Paschalis Arvanitidis escorted his daughter Zina Arvanitidi down the aisle for her wedding to groom Frank in Glyfada on Sunday, August 30. The veteran performer led his 50-year-old daughter into the Holy Church of Saint Nicholas before celebrating alongside relatives and close friends later that evening.
Footage shared on social media captured the moment Paschalis presented his daughter to the groom inside the church. Both the artist and the groom wore custom outfits designed by Greek fashion designer Nikos Apostolopoulos, with Paschalis dressed in a white suit for the religious ceremony.
Paschalis Arvanitidis, widely known across Greece simply as Paschalis, rose to national prominence in the 1960s as the lead vocalist of the pop group The Olympians. Glyfada, located along the Athenian Riviera south of Athens, is home to the historic Holy Church of Saint Nicholas, a central location for local Orthodox wedding ceremonies.
Private reception in Voula
Following the religious ceremony, the wedding party moved to a private reception hosted in the garden of the Arvanitidis family residence in nearby Voula. Relatives and close friends gathered in the outdoor space to celebrate with the newlyweds.
Among the standout highlights of the reception was a father-daughter dance between Paschalis and Zina. The pair took to the dance floor together to perform to his well-known track Istoria, drawing applause from guests.
The guest list featured notable figures from Greek political and cultural life, including politician Vangelis Meimarakis and composer Giorgos Hatzinasios, who attended alongside his family. Prominent singers Bessy Argyraki and Sofia Arvaniti were also present to celebrate with the couple.
During the reception, Argyraki and Arvaniti joined Paschalis to perform Mathima Solfez, the song that represented Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1977. The track remains one of the country's most famous Eurovision entries, having earned a fifth-place finish at the international contest in London.

On Monday, August 31, Zina Arvanitidi shared a personal snapshot from her wedding day with her social media followers. Posting a photograph on Instagram from inside a car while wearing her wedding dress, she wrote that the previous day had been a special one.
