North West's first headlining tour has been canceled just days before it was set to begin, with the 13-year-old confirming the news on Instagram while offering no explanation for the sudden collapse.
The Kimokawaii Tour, a 14-date run co-headlined with 21-year-old musician Molly Santana, was scheduled to kick off August 5 in Dallas. The Dallas show is now marked as canceled on Ticketmaster, and is no longer listed on the House of Blues Dallas website. The August 17 Toronto date and an August 27 Los Angeles show at The Novo have also been taken down from ticketing platforms.
North, the eldest daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, addressed the situation on her Instagram stories. She said she was really excited to go on tour with Santana but that it was no longer happening, adding that she had something special planned for fans and would see them soon.
Santana also posted to her Instagram stories, issuing an apology to ticket holders. She said she sincerely apologized to everyone who bought tickets, acknowledging that fans had taken time out of their schedules and spent money planning to attend. She added that she never takes fans' time or support lightly, that she loves them, and promised to make it up to them.
The tour dates have since been removed from Santana's website entirely. Kardashian had promoted the tour on her own Instagram stories in recent weeks. Planned stops included Houston, New York, Boston, Chicago, Phoenix and Atlanta.
A Rapid Rise in Music
The cancellation comes at an active moment in North's emerging music career. The tour had been announced in June. In May, she released her debut EP titled N0rth4evr, along with a music video for the title track.
North has also performed alongside her father, who goes by Ye, on multiple occasions. In January the two performed a surprise duet in Mexico City, and North joined him during his comeback concerts in Los Angeles in April. The pair also released a song together called Piercing On My Hand.
Her music activity predates the EP. In January 2025, she made a surprise appearance on FKA Twigs' third studio album, EUSEXUA, rapping in Japanese on the track Childlike Things.
In February of this year, North signed with Gamma, an independent entertainment firm run by former Apple executive Larry Jackson that also counts Mariah Carey among its roster. Rolling Stone reported at the time that she had already begun recording sessions under the new deal. In March, Kardashian and her daughter were spotted leaving a nighttime recording session in Los Angeles.
Daily Mail said it reached out to a representative for North for comment but had not received a response.
