Davis revealed in an Instagram post that she was diagnosed a year and a half ago after discovering a small mark on her breast. She stated that the cancer is incurable and has metastasized to her bones, making chemotherapy no longer viable.

Describing how she first identified the condition, Davis explained that what she felt was not a typical lump, but rather a small hardened spot. She admitted that because it was so tiny, she almost did not bother getting it checked by a medical professional.

Alongside her written message, Davis shared a video of herself ringing a hospital bell, a traditional ceremony in oncology departments that marks the completion of a treatment cycle.

Davis expressed that she is now focused on living as long and as enjoyably as possible during whatever time she has remaining. She reflected that she always strives to find a valuable lesson in negative experiences, adding that her battle with cancer has been no different and that she feels grateful for what she has learned.
