Doctors diagnosed Davis with stage 4 breast cancer that has metastasized to her bones, specifically affecting her spine, right hip, and ribs. She explained that the cancer is incurable and that it is already too late for her to undergo chemotherapy.

Davis shared that the initial symptom she noticed was not a distinct lump, but rather a very small hard area. She said she almost did not bother to get it checked by a doctor, and she urged others not to ignore any physical symptoms so they can avoid a similar situation.

Daily Life and Symptoms

Regarding her daily routine, Davis said she tries to live whatever time she has left in the most enjoyable way possible. She explained that she always seeks to find lessons in negative situations, adding that cancer has taught her a lot and that she feels grateful for what she has learned.

The actress noted that the physical pain can become severe, making it hard for her to stand or walk for extended periods. She mentioned that she sometimes relies on a wheelchair and invited anyone who sees her in one to help push her along.

Davis stressed that maintaining a sense of humor has been essential for her following the terminal diagnosis. She asked her friends and family to make fun of her as much as possible, noting that they are skilled at doing so.

Continued Acting and Advocacy

Davis emphasized that she specifically requested her loved ones not treat her as a sick person. She explained that nothing makes a person feel worse than being treated as if they are ill.

Looking ahead, Davis confirmed that she will continue her work advocating for animal rights, describing the cause as a central part of her life. She also stated her intention to keep working in the entertainment industry.

Davis explained that she remains fully capable of working and described acting as one of the greatest joys of her life.
