Lily Collins has shared photos of a French mini-break on Instagram while taking time off from filming the sixth and final season of Emily in Paris.
The 37-year-old actress took time out for herself to relax in France, sharing a gallery of images on Tuesday that captured her getaway away from the production set of the hit Netflix romantic comedy series.
Collins posed in a black strapless swimsuit featuring mesh paneling, accessorizing her poolside look with a black hat and strappy sandals. In another photograph, she wore a simple white lace dress, captioning the post with the phrase: "Windows, watercolors, and wandering..."
Beyond her acting work, Collins showcased her creative talents by displaying her impressive watercolor paintings. She took inspiration from her French surroundings during the break, using her downtime from the busy filming schedule to paint.
In addition to her swimsuit and lace dress, the star looked stylish in a baggy pair of beige trousers paired with a matching top and a straw bucket hat. Collins, a British-American actress known for her roles in films such as Mirror Mirror and Rules Don't Apply, has played the lead role of Emily Cooper in the series since its premiere in 2020.

The Instagram post follows an announcement from Netflix last month, when the streaming service released first-look images of Collins and her co-stars ahead of the sixth and final season. Netflix confirmed that the final installment of the beloved series will air on December 24.
In the teaser images, Collins can be seen gazing at gold designer heels while showcasing a series of stylish outfits as her protagonist character, Emily, prepares to say goodbye to her fashion-focused lifestyle in Europe. The show originally follows Emily, a marketing executive from Chicago who unexpectedly lands a dream job at a French marketing firm in Paris.

Cast Updates And Production Challenges
The preview images released by Netflix also highlight key moments for the supporting cast. Mindy Chen, played by 35-year-old actress Ashley Park, is seen taking part in what appears to be a farewell moment on a bench. Mindy shares a moment with Emily's ex-boyfriend Alfie, played by British actor Lucien Laviscount, following their on-screen romance.
Actress Minnie Driver also makes a glamorous appearance in the newly released images. This marks the first time fans have seen Driver since she survived a serious car crash on a country road in France during a day off from filming, an incident that left her wearing a neck brace and expressing gratitude to be alive.
Driver's production schedule had to be adjusted following the accident to allow for her recovery. Fortunately for the production team, only one scene involving the actress had to be rescheduled during the shoot.
Meanwhile, French actress Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, 63, who portrays Emily's formidable boss Sylvie Grateau, appears in a gold strapless gown at a formal party in the new images. Leroy-Beaulieu has earned critical praise for her portrayal of the sophisticated Parisian agency head throughout the series.
Greece Filming Location And Season Five Finale
While most previous episodes of Emily in Paris were filmed on location in Paris, the final series was shot in Greece. Season five depicted Emily splitting her time between Paris, Rome, and Venice as she navigated her marketing career and personal life.
The season five finale ended on a major cliffhanger involving Emily's ex-boyfriend Gabriel, played by 38-year-old French actor Lucas Bravo. In the final episode of the fifth season, Gabriel discovered that Emily was newly single and sent her a postcard from Greece, where he was working, asking her to join him.
