“Healthy Man” (March 2)
Winner of the silver “St. George” award for the best film of the “Russian Premieres” competition at the Moscow International Film Festival. This is a drama written by Pyotr Todorovsky with Nikita Efremov and Irina Starshenbaum about volunteer sports newscaster Yegor Tikhonov helping mothers of sick children in the oncology department and searching for missing people. Finding a new life, he begins to lose the old one: loses his job, almost divorces his wife. And more and more often he asks himself: all he does for what?
“Unscrupulous in the Village” (March 2)
The feature-length version of the TV show that was hit on big screens. General Khadyakov (Nikolai Fomenko) is 60 years old and decides to celebrate his anniversary not in the Patriarchate, but in a real Russian village – with full immersion, a festive meal, a bath, fishing and a village spa. All favorite characters are on the guest list, but the holiday, of course, does not go according to plan.
John Wick 4 (March 23)
The fourth installment of the series is about Keanu Reeves and a former hitman. In the finale of the third John Wick, the hero takes refuge with the Pigeon King, who announces that he is ready to start a war against the Clan Council, and that is all that is known about the plot of the sequel. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (December 25)
Jason Momoa is back as King of Atlantis. The plot details are still kept secret, but it is known that Ben Affleck will appear in the movie as Bruce Wayne aka Batman. But Amber Heard’s involvement in the sequel to the superhero franchise is still in question – after a high-profile trial with Johnny Depp, her character’s involvement in the film has drastically declined.
