A white bride arriving at her wedding ceremony with her white groom on a leash has different ideas about Tic knock after a video of him acting like a dog and crawling on all fours went viral.
Alexander and his wife, from Gallatin, Tennessee, were married in a ceremony attended by family and friends in early April, and at the reception you saw the groom performing a bizarre routine to the tune of George Clinton’s Atomic Dog. .
It was quickly slammed, with many describing the couple’s entry as “racist and weird”.
But in a conversation with the Daily Point, Alexander explained that the song was an inside joke he shared with his siblings, and the strap was a nod to his wife “finally getting it” after six years of dating.
A US-based couple raised eyebrows on TikTok after a wedding video showed the groom wearing a collar.
In the clip, which was watched more than 482,000 times on the social media platform, Alexander and his bride were seen coming to the wedding.
The bride kept herself on a leash tied around Alexander’s neck, and the groom quickly descended to the ground, where he began to act like a dog.
The bizarre scene showed Alexander walking on the floor, rubbing himself against his bride, and imitating her when he urinated on her as a male dog would.
Meanwhile, his wife spun around him several times, something gently pulling on the leash to guide him across the room.

In the video, the bride is on a leash and the groom is wearing all four, imitating a dog that is dancing and sniffing.
Relatives were heard encouraging the couple and dancing around them with enthusiasm.
And a man in a cream suit and cowboy hat walked around the couple, smiling.
While everyone in the video seemed to be having fun, viewers were impressed by the bizarre video, suggesting racist overtones in the relationship between the white woman and her black husband.
“I’m so glad I don’t know anyone who thinks this is good,” one said.

The groom later explained that the choreography was a nod to his father, who danced Atomic Dog like this.

In the bizarre video clip, the bride circled around the groom holding her belt as the guests applauded them.
‘I can’t believe all those sisters encouraged him there; someone else wrote.
“So that doesn’t quite fit,” wrote another.
“I don’t like it and I don’t see any humor,” one said.
Most weren’t impressed either by the children’s presence at the reception during the prom.
“This would be a PERFECT time to say ‘no kids at the reception’,” someone said.
“With the boy,” said another.
But speaking of the video for the Daily Dot, Alexander explained that the dance was actually a tribute to his father, who loved the Atomic Dog song.
†[My dad] she did her dance for it [a] Long time ago. And it has since passed on to my sister and then to me,” she said.
And his decision to keep him on a leash was a joke, implying that his wife finally caught him after six years of dating.
“It finally showed that he had caught me,” Alexander explained. “There was no such thing as ‘Oh, this is my slave master’.”

The clip was denounced on TikTok, where people claimed the belt didn’t fit them well.
