The largest art park in Europe (650 hectares of land), located near the village in the Kaluga region. On its territory there are works of modern art and architecture. The entire park is very Instagrammable, so a fresh collection of photos is guaranteed. By the way, the Signal festival is held here every year. The only negative is that it takes too long (about three hours) to get there.

Another good place to walk. Incredibly beautiful estate of the late 18th century in the style of Russian classicism, located in Serednikovo, Solnechnogorsk region. By the way, Mikhail Lermontov often spent time there (his grandmother brought him there every summer vacation). There is also a small pond and forest in the area. And in “Serednikovo” they shot the series “Closed School” and the movie “Admiral”. From the Leningradsky railway station in Moscow, take the train to the Firsanovka station.

Peredelkino is a real city of writers. In the 1930s, it became a favorite place for all Soviet intellectuals. It was there that Andrei Tarkovsky shot scenes from the movie Mirror and where Boris Pasternak wrote the famous novel Doctor Zhivago. Now there are house-museums of Korney Chukovsky, Bulat Okudzhava and Yevgeny Yevtushenko. And last year, after the reconstruction, the House of Creativity of Writers was opened, where you can learn more about the cultural life of the village. You can get there by train or car from Kievsky railway station to Peredelkino station.

Probably the most European place in our selection. Marfino is a neo-Gothic mansion located just 25 kilometers from Moscow. You cannot go inside the building, but you can always walk around the area. There is a large park with streets, a beautiful pond and even a beach. And in the “Marfino” many historical buildings have been preserved, such as fountains and gazebos. Entry to the territory of the “Marfino” is free. You can reach the property by train from Savelovsky station to Catoire station.

Shot from the TV series “Brigada”

As one of our friends said, all fans of “The Brigade” should visit this place. And we totally agree with him! It was on the shore of the Ivankovsky reservoir that one of the legendary scenes of the series was filmed. In the fifth series, Sasha Bely, Kosmos, Phil and Pchyola go on a gang showdown to catch a traitor who grenades Bely’s house. The place where they came out of the forest and found themselves on the shore of the reservoir is on the left bank of the city. By the way, in Dubna there are also huts of the Tsarevs and Surikovs, where Bely hid and Olya lived. Fans of the series can find these houses on the right bank of the city, on 1/3 Lesnaya Street. You can get there by train from Savelovsky or Leningradsky railway station.
