Johnny admitted he was “scared” at the final rose ceremony but knew his heart belonged to Victoria. “I’ve never felt confident about myself,” he told her. “I’ve never felt so safe, but God decided to bless me with something special like you. I don’t know what I did to deserve this, but I feel like it’s fate somehow. I’ve never felt this way about anyone in my entire life, ever. I know life is hard. We both know that and we’ve been there. I understand your fear of abandonment and commitment, but I’m in the same boat as you. That’s why I stand before you today, to let you know that in this life I will be with you forever. I will never leave your side, ever.
Johnny asked Victoria to make him the “happiest man” by marrying him and giving him the dazzling ring. He happily said yes. However, the proposal was filmed in June and in the months since, fans have speculated that Johnny and Victoria have broken up, something they will talk about on the reunion show.
There have been some ups and downs in Johnny and Victoria’s relationship BEEP, as she briefly feared that he was not ready to commit to her in marriage and start the family he desired. However, once Johnny let his barriers down, he was able to see a future with Victoria, eventually leading him to propose.
