Vicente Barbara Colmenero. He is the coordinator of the work and holds a PhD in Heritage and Archeology from the University of Jaén and the French Institute of Oriental Archeology in Cairo. Expert in archeology of the ancient world in the Eastern Mediterranean and in the south of the Iberian Peninsula.

He has written several archeology books and several articles in prestigious international journals. He has also published numerous articles and chapters in informative books. He has participated in more than a hundred archaeological interventions in Spain and is a researcher at the Qubbet el-Hawa project in Aswan (Egypt), on which he conducted several studies focusing on the Byzantine stage of southern Egypt.
