“Hear Me” is the Turkish version of “Elite”.  Why is everyone talking about it and is it worth watching?

The TV series “Listen to Me”, which tells the story of the students of the prestigious Real College, had its +1 high-profile premiere in Turkish cinema this summer. And now the question is: does the plot resemble that of the Spanish TV series Elite, which in the spring of 2020 everyone was crazy about? Too much for us personally. We even chose a few similar characters for ourselves.

The series begins with one of the main characters being hit by a car. As a result of the accident, the girl remains paralyzed and the culprit of the disaster cannot be found. His family and all those involved unite to find him. Then it turns out that the driver of that car is a student of the elite College of Truth, she. Can you find the culprit? We’ll find out at the end of the season.

Although here is a love story for men from different social classes, the main focus is on college bullying, where “rich kids” prevail and students from low-income families are the victims. The drama is full of moral and physical humiliations, so “Hear Me” is not that easy to watch. You also won’t have to see a beautiful picture of Turkey blooming here. Basically, events take place within the four walls of an elite institution.
