The Investigative Committee of Russia announced that the investigation into the criminal case against blogger Alexandra Mitroshina has been completed. The indictment has already been sent to the court, and Mitroshina herself only partially admitted the crime.
According to the ministry, in the early stages of the investigation, the blogger fully admitted his guilt, but later changed his statement. “At the initial stage of the criminal investigation, the accused Mitroshina admitted that she had committed the accused crime, but later changed her position and partially admitted that she had committed the crime described above,” the Investigative Committee said in a statement.
The investigation alleges that Mitroshina, acting as an individual entrepreneur, exceeded the income limit under the simplified tax system from 2020 to 2022. He allegedly transferred money to the accounts of other individual entrepreneurs to hide his real income. According to investigators, the blogger failed to pay more than 127 million rubles in taxes and legalized part of these funds by buying real estate in Moscow.
Let us remind you that the girl was detained in Sochi on March 7. He was brought to court a few days later. As a result of the meeting, the investigative committee placed the star of the banned social network under house arrest, and was also banned from using the phone and other means of communication. At the end of April, the court accepted the request for an investigation and extended Mitroshina’s house arrest until June 24, 2025.
