Race participants did their best as they arrived for the final day of Aintree, the first Grand National since 2019 after the event was on a two-year hiatus due to Covid.
This week sees a flashback to the pre-pandemic years when riders poured onto the track to keep the horses fluttering.
And yet, even though the weather reports didn’t seem very appropriate, those present, including football expert Chris Kamara, flocked to the field.
Aintree is known for her nude dresses, and since the three-day event kicked off on Thursday, visitors have been caught in an array of flamboyant outfits, including open heels, lace jumpsuits, and jacketless dresses, despite wind and a maximum temperature of 10 degrees Celsius. °C
Color: This driver chose to wear a rainbow-colored suit on his way to Day 3 of Aintree, proving that men can go out in bright outfits just as much as women.


While the drizzle threatened to ruin the day, some runners devoted themselves to warm-weather clothing, ventilating their legs with light skirts, and opting for open shoes.

Ready to party! Race participants made it to the last day of Aintree today, and despite the mild weather, some chose to show off their bare legs and arms in suits and overalls.


The scent of a drizzle wasn’t enough to encourage these women to stay indoors, and on this occasion they stepped outside wearing glamorous spring outfits.

While this couple opted to wear complementary outfits, the man added some sparkle to his look with a pair of shimmering silver loafers.

It was no different today, with some women opting for sunglasses with open arms and legs optimistically, while others dressed more sensitively to warmer weather, sweatpants and thicker jackets.
Around 150,000 people are expected to attend the three-day festival, making it one of the largest of its kind in the world with over £25m planned stakes.
And the festivities don’t stop there: Previously, the event, now in its 183rd year, brought attendees an astonishing 20,000 bubbles to get into the holiday spirit.
Extraordinary, 500 million more people in more than 140 countries are expected to watch the action.

While many racers choose to wear soft pastels, this lady opted for a more striking look with lots of neon hues and a red hat.


Not everyone preferred style over comfort, and some, for example, this runner (right), wrapped themselves up against the cold in a pink jacket. Meanwhile, soccer pro Chris Kamara was caught entering the event wearing a gray three-piece suit.

Another pair came in comfortable sporty tweed and fur coats, ready to withstand current temperatures not exceeding 9°C.
The biggest competition, the 30-jump hurdles course, is held on Saturday and is the most exciting day for many riders.
However, the weather could be less promising after the Met office warned that the weather would not be suitable for outdoor activities today.
Randox Grand National 2022, which will be held at Aintree Racecourse, will take place from 7 to 9 April.
