As happened with ‘Game of Thrones’, we can return to the past of one of the stories with the most followers and the most awards, ‘The Lord of the Rings’. We’ve been hearing about this series since 2017, when Amazon bought the rights to perform the prequel to “The Lord of the Rings.” This version goes to the second age of Middle-earth, before the adventures of Bilbo and Frodo. Although it will not have the protagonists of the films, the longevity of the elves will allow us to see the young versions of Galadriel or Elrond.

In addition to the biggest budget in the history of the series, it will be directed by some of the most prolific filmmakers in the world, such as Spain’s JA Bayona, who will direct the first two episodes.
