Sydney’s Mayflower opened its second location in St Leonards last month and has been called a “must visit” by diners.
While enjoying Mayflower’s extensive high-end food and drink menu, guests are immersed in incredible art exhibits by international and local artists.

There are huge screens showing artist Refik Anadol’s “Quantum Memories” work with hypnotic moving images, which was once exhibited at the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne.
The restaurant’s pastel pink walls and ceilings are decorated with the floral sculpture “Butterfly Habitat” featuring more than 3,000 beautiful blue butterflies by Sydney artist and creative director of private florist Don de L’Amour Amy Thai.
There are also floor-to-ceiling displays, floor-to-ceiling displays of Turkish-American digital media artist Refik Anadol’s “Quantum Memories” along with hypnotic, lively motion pictures that drew huge crowds when exhibited at Melbourne’s National Gallery of Victoria.
Sydney food blogger Adrian Widjonarko was lucky enough to get a taste of the “miracle” restaurant before it opened on March 3, and is documenting his visit in a now viral TikTok video.

Diners can enjoy sophisticated dishes and cocktails, including ocean trout gravlax with marinated beets (shown left) and colorful Magnolia Mule (shown right).

The Mayflower’s St Leonards location opened after its Darlinghurst counterpart established itself as one of the best brunch spots for breakfast lovers.

The video hit most of Adrian’s 150,600 followers, with viewers tagging their friends in the comments and eager to visit the “epic” site.
Diners can enjoy a wide variety of gourmet and brunch dishes on the menu, including the ocean trout gravlax with marinated beets and whipped ricotta, as well as the Croque Monsieur topped with gruyere, bechamel and mozzarella.


Mayflower’s Darlinghurst restaurant offers a striking backdrop with peachy-pink walls, marble furniture and gorgeous bouquets hanging from the ceiling.
There are also a variety of ready-to-order truffles, oysters, and desserts, as well as colorful Instagram-worthy cocktails like the orange and purple Magnolia Mule with honey, grapefruit, and rosemary juice.

Despite only having two locations in Sydney, The Mayflower will soon open a restaurant in Melbourne.
