Yakitoria Helps: Order Caesar Salad and Help Homeless Animals

On August 1, Yakitoriya restaurants launched a new phase of the Yakitoriya Helps charity project (by the end of the year, financial assistance in the amount of about three million rubles will be provided to the wards of Russian foundations), and everyone can participate simply by ordering a Caesar salad with chicken”.

A portion of the selling cost of the meal will go to the Nika Charity Foundation, which helps homeless animals – this phase is timed to coincide with World Homeless Animals Day, which falls on August 20 this year.

“Big and important help comes from day-to-day things, so we are delighted to be a part of the Yakitoriya Helps project – it shows that helping is much easier than it seems. We hope those participating in the action will be inspired by the idea that even a daily lunch can contribute to rescuing homeless animals. Thanks to such initiatives, we can take thousands of stray cats and dogs off the street and treat them and adopt new families every year,” says Vera Mitina, President of the Nika Foundation.

By the way, the first phase of the Yakitoriya Relief project (then the main charity dish was french fries, ten rubles from its sale was transferred to help foster families in a Find a Family relief fund) ended just a few days ago, on July 31. As a result of the campaign, targeted assistance was provided to 38 foster families and 84 foster children.

“We are very grateful to the management, the team and of course the guests of Yakitoria for their help and support in the foundation’s work. Our wards are children with a difficult past, the consequences of which cannot be addressed without the participation of highly qualified specialists. Elena Tseplik, President of the Find a Family Foundation, says 84 children have a serious chance for a normal future thanks to the campaign, whose first phase has ended.

This time, the funds raised with the help of Yakitoria’s guests are planned to be used to keep the shelter and wards of the Wet Nose multifunctional center in comfortable conditions – and that means more than a thousand dogs and cats who lost their lives. houses and their owners. The main areas of work of the Nika Foundation are the placement of wards for new families, the education of a humane and responsible attitude to animals, reducing the number of neglected animals on the streets and participation in legislative processes in the field of livestock. protection.

“Originally, the Yakitoriya Helps project was conceived as a long-term project involving the maximum number of areas related to the social responsibility of the enterprise,” says Alexander Muratov, Development Director of the company that owns the Yakitoriya brand. Our project is to bring together everyone who wants to help those in need. Making the world a little kinder is a whole lot easier together.”
