Hyundai rejoins the Children’s Desert adventure

This year the sixteenth edition of this trip, with Hyundai Motor as main sponsor. In total, approximately 90 people and 25 vehicles will participate.

The Children’s Desert is a journey created with the intention of taking children and adults to discover landscapes and new cultures in a different way. Leisure activities and 4×4 routes are conducted for solidarity purposes. This adventure is run with the idea of ​​making the little ones aware that there is a world beyond what they know and showing them how many people live in other parts of the world.

To participate, a series of requirements must be met which include: have an off-road vehicle or a 4×4 SUV (it is also possible to rent it), children must be older than 5 years and finally, perform the corresponding registration.

Another year for the Korean brand to join this solidarity initiative and another year for the organization’s Hyundai to lead the caravan. This time with a new guest, newcomer Hyundai Staria, who will be appearing at this event for the first time.. One of these minibuses will be responsible for transporting the opticians of the Alain Afflelou Foundation, who is responsible for checking vision and providing eyewear to anyone who needs them.

It will not be the only model of the Hyundai family that will travel to the Moroccan desert, several will also be protagonists Santa Fe, Tucson and a Kona. To drive and complete the various organized routes, the Hyundais will fit Hankook mixed tires. Very necessary to overcome dusty and rocky roads, dunes or the popular fesh-fesh, so known and suffered in these places.

Leopoldo Satrustegui, CEO of Hyundai, emphasizes that “supporting this charitable adventure since its inception shows the commitment we have at Hyundai to give back to society what it has given us over the years. Several wells will be opened this year of water under the motto ‘Water in the Desert’, with the collaboration of the Hyundai Motor Spain dealer network.
