Jane Seymour says she’s been labeled “always” through her four divorces, refusing to feel “failed” because she has “beautiful kids” and is “still very attached” to her exes.

The 71-year-old British actress pondered her past relationships and why they plan to stay single at this stage of their lives during her time appearing on Yahoo Life with her longtime partner David Green.

“Every time I got divorced, I had to develop a new taste for life. “I had to find a way to find myself because I would find myself stuck in a relationship that wouldn’t work, or circumstances… it was impossible to heal,” she said.

The British actress has been in a relationship with the 73-year-old Green for eight years, but has no plans to marry the director and says:

Seymour’s first marriage was to the theater director Michael Attenborough, son of the famous director Richard Attenborough. She was just 20 years old when they got married in 1971 and divorced in 1973.

She married Geoffrey ‘Geep’ Planer in 1977, but they separated the following year.

The actress married businessman David Flynn in 1981 and they have two children together, Katherine Flynn and Sean Flynn.

Their marriage fell apart after she found out that he had multiple relationships and wasted his money. They divorced in 1992.

“When I found out you lost my money and was unfaithful, that’s all. It could be said that I chose the wrong person, but we raised the children we love and now we get along very well.”

Homeless and with millions of dollars in debt, Seymour is in the CBS series “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” after his third divorce.

The hit show ran for six seasons from 1993 to 1998 and earned multiple Emmy nominations and a 1996 Golden Globe.

The longest marriage of the “Live and Die” star was with her fourth husband, actor James Keach, with whom she was with from 1993 until they broke up in 2013. The former couple, who share twins Kristopher and John, finalized their divorce in 2015.

He has also remained close with his two stepchildren, Jenni Flynn and Kalen Keach, from his last two marriages. The guard said in 2013 that they “didn’t use the word stepchild”.

Seymour explained to Yahoo Life that she has learned to ignore other people’s judgments about her past relationships.

‘I’ve always been tagged’ [by it]’ said. “Oh, you’ve had so many breakups” – it’s like I failed but I don’t feel like I did it, ”she said. “I’ve made amazing babies and I’m still very close to the people who love me, I loved them and we still love each other.”

Seymour has been in a happy relationship with 73-year-old Green for the past eight years, but is not considering marrying the British director and producer.

“I don’t think you need it right now,” he said.

The couple met 30 years ago when Green had to direct her in a movie that was never made. After her most recent divorce, the divorced father of three reconnected with her father through a mutual friend.

The star announced that she needed someone.

Explaining that she needs someone who “understands” her love for the acting career, the star said, “You know, maybe I’ll be in Australia next week.”

“I can do what I want,” he said. “I have saved some money, so I feel comfortable. I work because I want to. I can choose the projects I want’

“We looked at each other for a while and said, ‘Well, we’re together,'” she said. “I would say there are different times in your life where you seek different things. In your 30s, you may be looking for a life partner to have children with.

“Besides, you know, if you’re divorced and raising kids, you’re now looking for someone who can take care of a woman with a child. And in my case, can I find someone who understands my love for my career, my love of acting? You know, maybe I’ll be in Australia next week.

When not acting, she participates in the non-profit Open Hearts Foundation, travels and other creative pursuits, including writing books and painting.

“I can do what I want,” he said. “I have saved some money, so I feel comfortable. I work because I want to. I can choose the projects I want. I don’t like being stupid, so I defined my life and the time I had to spend with my friends, family and people I care about.”

Seymour shared new interview with The mirror she likes to live “on her own terms” and “a pretty independent woman”, just like her crime-solver character in the “Harry Wild” detective series.

“Even though I have a career and earn money, I always asked my husband for advice,” she explains. “What I learned from my last divorce is that I can do this on my own. So life changed a lot nine years ago and I’m more like my new character Harry.”
