A cute baby born with an impressive mane of black hair has been nicknamed “Jimmy Neutron”.
Claire Bell, 32, from Glasgow, was shocked to see very black hair when she gave birth to little Mark Bell-Hallyburton in July last year.
But over time, Mark’s hair opened up but continued to grow.
Working as a hair extension specialist, Claire is often stopped by strangers who admire her curls and compare her to the cartoon character.

Claire said: ‘I was totally shocked when we saw Mark and his hair, my 33-year-old partner with a shipping company.
“Neither of us had thick hair as children, so we have no idea where it came from.
“Obviously the midwife saw little Mark in front of me and told her to stay until the end of her shift to see him.
I thought what’s inside of me!
“When he arrived, other midwives came and sang Elvis Presley – Allen Shaken.
“It was so funny!”

Now, eight months later, Mark’s hair is touching his shoulders. It is no longer black and has turned mouse brown.

“It’s ironic that I grow women’s hair for a living and my son now has long curls,” Claire said.
“Besides, stay too long.

“I love it and everyone he meets loves it too.
“Strangers always keep us from admiring their hair.
‘We are very proud.
“Compared to Jimmy Neutron and Sonic the Hedgehog, which is pretty funny.”
Claire refuses to cut her hair because it has become her trademark.
He adds: “I don’t want to cut it because it looks so cute.
“I don’t have a care regimen yet, I just use baby shampoo and conditioner and blow dry after a bath or swim.
“She loves him!”
