Gemma from New South Wales shared pictures of her shower on an online forum dedicated to cleanliness.
“The person who recommended dishwasher tablets for cleaning showers is a myth,” he wrote. “I’ve never been able to clean a shower so easily in my life.”

Gemma continued: ‘I used three Fairy dish pads for the shower.’
“I actually made sure the shower was wet, I used some water to soften the tablet, then dried it with the tablet.”
She used a small scrubbing brush with minimal pressure to even out the product and then rinsed the entire area with the shower cap.
Gemma also shared that although the method produces foamy showers, some safety precautions must be taken.
“The only advice I have is to be careful, as it can get pretty slippery in the shower,” she said.
